2 CONT d experience in a military chapel in Washington, D.C. She developed a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary , realizing that God had given His mother to her as a surrogate mother. This experience i
2 CONT s documented in Joan’s book, Little House on A Hill . In 1970, she attended a Cursillo Retreat , which deepened her relationship with God and gave her numerous lifelong friendships rooted in Christ. J

2 CONT . Brendan Church in Youngstown. Family Bob married Marie Elena (Gura) Casey on September 11, 1965. Together they raised three children: Maureen Casey , Colleen (Casey) Grager , and Brian Casey . Marie
2 CONT Elena passed away on November 5, 1993. Robert passed away early Monday morning, June 7, 2021, at Hospice House from complications of Parkinson's Disease, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
2 CONT He is buried in Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio (Section 11, Plot #57), and was honored with military burial honors.
